math Leistungskurs trip to Copenhagen

At the end of the school year, I took my math Leistungskurs to Copenhagen. It was the first trip after a long time of Corona pandemic. I believe the students really enjoyed themselves. We kept it as low budget as possible, considering that Copenhagen is not cheap.

Thursday evening

Passport contral around 3 am in the morning.

Friday

Arrival at 7 am.

Luggage stored at Urban House Copenhagen by MEININGER

breakfast at the bakery St.Pedders, one of the best stops for Danish pastries.

Orsted park - sculptures

Rosengarden

Queen of Denmark - caught a glimpse of the Queen of Denmark addressing the military.

Change of guards at Amalienburg

Planetarium - some caught up with some sleep.

Settle in the hotel

Students found the self-catering kitchen.

Saturday

Walk toward the Frelsers Kirke, a church with a spiral staircase (location), on our way to Christiania.

Entered Christiania.

Had a rest on a footbridge outside the fortifications.

Walked toward the mermaid over many bike / pedestrian bridges.

Return to hotel independently.

Past the Kastellet.

Sunday

Swimming in the river at one of the free open pools - islands brygge.

Walk to Market.

Free time.

Monday

Rented bikes from baisikeli and headed straight over the cykleslangen toward the beach

Bike tour to beach.

The Øresund Bridge in the distance.
